Records Imaging Technician
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Some college preferred.
Experience: Strong Organizational and time management skills. Detailed-oriented with high attention to detail to match patient names, account numbers and other PHI.
Job Description: Responsible for ensuring an accurate and complete electronic medical record. Procedures to include: document preparation, scanning, indexing, quality control content review. Performs visual inspection on each scanned image; identifies and corrects errors. Adheres to all hospital policy and procedure , in addition to Federal and State Regulations in regards to HIPAA and patient privacy. Performs all other duties as assigned.
